These titles have all been given to Seomjin River Train Village.

The steam train of the village is an exact replica of an actual train that was used in the old days of South Korea.
It definitely has a different look than the trains that we ride today, like KTX.
By photos, it seems that it kind of looks like a toy train, but in real life it would probably be totally different and have more of a majestic feel to it.

By taking the train, you will be able to pass by one of the most beautiful sceneries of Korea.
It is said to be one of the best driving routes of Southern Jeolla province.
As flowers are starting to bloom and the world becoming more green, it would be a great idea to go to the village before it gets to hot and enjoy the breeze with the scenery.

Koksong station, or Gokseong, it an old train station.
The official name for this station is Seomjin River Train Village, but because this place is a replica it still keeps its former name.
The train starts here at Gokseong station and drives for about 10km to Gajeong station.
The actual ride takes about 30 minutes, but the train takes a 30 minute break at Gajeong, so it would take around 80 minutes for the whole ride.

Also, at the village, there are rail bikes that you can ride with your friends and family.
This will allow you to enjoy natural surroundings from a closer distance.
In order to take the rail bike, you will need to go Chimgok station. There are free shuttle buses from Gokseong to Chimgok, so please refer to the homepage for exact schedules and reservations!
Seomjin River Train Village seems like a place great for enjoying the nature as well as some outdoor activities.
As it is a place that has received numerous titles regarding travel destinations in Korea, it definitely is one of the best recommendations to give! :)
Somejin River Train Village is open all throughout the year and the entrance fees are as follows.
Apr~Oct: Adult 3,000 / Teenager and under, Elders 2,500
Nov~Mar: Adult 2,000 / Tennager and under, Elders 1,000
