While looking for photos of Boseong green tea plantation,

I was pleasantly surprised by how picturesque the photos were.

Isn't it just amazing?

This place is Korea's only and the oldest tea farm that is also a tourism spot.

Each year, over 10 million people are visiting Boseong green tea plantation.

If you visit Boseong green tea plant's website, there are five different tour routes available.

There are routes from a minimum of 20 minutes to maximum 1 hour, so for those of you that want some help looking around, please refer to their homepage and maps that you can receive at the ticket booth! :)

This is where you can experience the tea culture of Boseong.

How tea should be made and the scent and taste can all be found here!

This place is a MUST for those of you that visit Boseong.

Also, at the tea farm, they have a shop where you can buy tea leaves and other green tea related souvenirs.


They also have a separate cafe/restaurant where you can have deserts and meals made with Boseong green tea, such as green tea ice-cream.





May is the start of the peak season for Boseong tea farm.

That means there is less than a month till the best time to visit here. Better hurry!

The opening hours are as follows

Summer season (May-Aug) 09:00~19:00

Winter season (Sep~Apri) 09:00~18:00

*Exit hour 20:00 (Winter 19:00)



Entrance fees are as follows

Adults: 4,000 / Group(over 20) 3,000

Teenagers: (7~18yrs) 3,000

Elders: (65+yrs), servicemen: 3,000

Boseong residents / physically handicapped: 2,000

Children (under 6yrs): Free
