The Garden of Morning Calm is located an hour or two away from Seoul, in Gapyeong-gun.
The Gapyeong are is a popular place for a short travel during the weekend and so if you have a chance to visit the area, please try visiting the Garden of Morning Calm!
It is most likely that the majority of people already know about this garden.
It has been the background for countless movies, dramas and tv shows in Korea.
The Garden of Morning Calm is composed of 20 different smaller gardens, each with a different theme.
The trail will lead you through all the gardens, so be prepared for some walking ;)
After sunset, the lights bring a whole different look to the garden.
Quite similar to the Ansan Starlight village!
Although the garden is called the garden of "Morning Calm", it is beautiful both day and night.
However, the garden closes quite early, so it is recommended that you visit a bit earlier throughout the day.
