<National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art>
Since its opening in 1969, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA),
has lived through the history of Korean art!
In the progress,
MMCA established itself as a representative institution of Korean modern art!
The museum's four branches, including Gwacheon opened in 1986, Deoksugung in 1998,
Seoul in 2013, and Cheongju expected to open in 2019!

There are several exhibitions in Seoul MMCA such as
Korean Air box Project 2016 Tangjiang Group : Calligraphy Is the Way to Communicate
with the Most Primal Power, VOID, Korea Artist Prize 2016, Craft Narrative : The place, process, perspective,
and MMCA Hyundai Motor Series 2016 : Kimsooja - Archive of Mind!
2 exhibitions among them are not free, so need to be aware that it costs 4,000won,
Except some exhibitions, there are many exhibitions for free!

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday : 10am ~ 5pm
Saturday : 10am ~ 9pm (17:00~21:00: special exhibition is free)

March ~ October : 10am ~ 6pm
November ~ February : 10am ~ 5pm
All-in-one ticket at MMCA Gwacheon : 3,000won
* Admission fee is charged differently according to the exhibition, so
